The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County (BGCM) held a special superhero-themed virtual event recently, to celebrate and raise awareness of the Club’s “everyday heroes among us.”

The “Superhero Power Hour” was streamed live from the Asbury Park Unit of BGCM and featured special guest and long-time Club supporter Ming Chen of AMC’s “Comic Book Men” who shared hosting duties with Douglas Eagles, the Club’s Executive Director.

Guests of the event were treated to superhero special appearances, prizes, and an up-close look at the work BGCM does on an ongoing basis.
