Since 1822, when Captain Richard Whiley formed what is now the foundation of Crum & Forster – The North River Insurance Company – to insure buildings in New York City, C&F has enjoyed a long history of providing cutting-edge risk and insurance products and solutions, building and maintaining scores of lasting partnerships and creating an enduring legacy of corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Ranjini Pillay, Vice President within C&F’s Credit Division, was named a 2021 Elite Woman by Insurance Business America for her career accomplishments; leadership initiatives; and ongoing efforts to help increase diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
Nick Economidis, C&F Vice President of eRisk, received the Toby Merrill Award for Excellence at NetDiligence’s 2021 Cyber Risk Summit. This award recognizes Nick for his cyber insurance thought leadership and contributions to the marketplace.
