Crum & Forster announces the promotion of Joe Guarisco to Senior Vice President, Surety IT and Operations. Mr. Guarisco joined Crum & Forster in 2013 as a Project Manager and has successfully implemented underwriting support systems and pivotal Surety applications. His close collaboration with the Surety Operations team and its leaders over the years played a pivotal role in the decision to unite these teams. In this expanded role, Mr. Guarisco will lead the Surety IT and Operations functions that will continue to provide exceptional service to the Surety Division and make improvements and enhancements that will support their current and future needs.
Mr. Guarisco has more than three decades of insurance industry experience with the majority of those years in IT organizations. He started his career in an underwriting support role, focusing on underwriting operations before transitioning into IT positions. Since then, he has worked in various sectors, including Property & Casualty and Life & Annuity, as well as within Insurance Software companies.
“Joe’s leadership creates a natural synergy between the IT and Operations functions which are integral to the division’s success and I look forward to the evolution of this combined team,” said Matt Lubin, President of the Surety Division at C&F.
