Crum & Forster’s Crisis Management unit announces a new partnership with Stout for automotive industry recall consulting.

Under this new arrangement, automotive component manufacturing clients of Crum & Forster now have access to Stout’s consulting services. These services provide assistance in areas such as pre-incident component defect analysis, recall preparedness and risk assessments and post-incident component defect and recall response.

Steve Fomchenko, President of Crum & Forster’s Property division, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Stout is an industry leader in automotive recall consulting, and we’re thrilled to offer their services to our manufacturing clients.” This partnership aims to provide policyholders with one-stop access to comprehensive underwriting and consulting solutions through a single carrier.

Stout’s team can assist policyholders in identifying and assessing risks and costs related to component defects and recalls. Their services help policyholders develop strategies for risk mitigation, enhance business processes, negotiate appropriate terms with customers and suppliers, and quantify costs associated with field actions.

Ray Roth, Director and Automotive Recalls Practice Leader at Stout, has highlighted Crum & Forster’s longstanding presence in the marketplace, serving as a trusted carrier for product recall insurance for over a decade and expressing excitement about working closely with C&F, stating, “We are excited to work closely with their policyholders to help mitigate risk and respond to any incidents should they occur.”
