Our Simple Cyber Insurance Policy Is Easier to Read
We designed our Simple Cyber insurance policy to help our customers understand their cyber coverage. Some of the many robust coverage features include:
- Cyber Business Interruption – loss of income and extra expense coverage from a computer virus, ransomware, other security failure or systems failure events
- Dependent Business Interruption – loss of income and extra expense coverage including dependent security failure and dependent system failure
- Cyber-Related Reputational Loss – (full limits)
- Bricking – costs to repair/replace computer equipment (full limits)
- Voluntary Shutdown – when it’s a reasonable response to mitigate loss
- Cyber Contingent Bodily Injury and Property Damage – (full limits)
- Breach Costs – reasonable and necessary expenses for legal expenses, computer security forensics, notification expenses, call center, public relations, crisis management costs and credit and identity monitoring ($0 retention for legal costs when fully utilizing C&F panel vendors)
- Cyber Liability – data breach coverage, including regulatory and payment card industry (PCI) fines and expenses
- eCrime – funds transfer fraud,social engineering, telephone fraud and invoice manipulation (up to $250,000 in coverage)
- Cyber Extortion Loss – demand of monies, goods or services to prevent a significant release of data or network suspension
- Broad definition of “Cyber Event” including: wrongful use and wrongful collection of protected information which violates a privacy law
