Notice 8 – Required Workers’ Compensation Coverage for Contractor for Government Entity:
Pursuant to Workers’ Compensation Rule 110.110 (d)(7), a contractor engaged in a building or construction project for a government entity is required to post a notice on each project site informing all persons providing services on the project that they are required to be covered by workers’ compensation insurance. Nothing needs to be filled in on this notice.

Notice 9 – For employers of Emergency Service – Paramedics – Fire Fighters – Law Enforcement – Correctional Officers:
Pursuant to Workers’ Compensation Rule 110.108, employers of emergency medical service employees, paramedics, fire fighters, law enforcement officers or correctional officers must post a notice informing employees about requirements contained in the Health and Safety Code which could affect qualifying for workers’ compensation benefits following a work-related exposure to a reportable communicable disease. Nothing needs to be filled in on this notice.

State Posting Notice Compliance Requirements:

  • Every employer must post notices to employees in a conspicuous place at each insured location and the insured’s personnel office.
  • Notices must be posted in English, Spanish and any other language common to the employee population.
  • Complete as per instructions on the form before printing.
