IAIABC IA-1 MWCC – Workers’ Compensation – First Report of Injury or Illness: If you report the claim via the Internet or Telephone, this form does not need to be completed. If you report the claim via Fax, complete the form, and Fax it to C&F at the Fax number provided above.

What is the Waiting Period for Lost Wages in Mississippi?
The waiting period for lost wages in Mississippi is 5 days. If the injured worker is off for more than 14 days, the first 5 days are paid retroactively.
What is the Choice of Physician Rules in Mississippi?
An injured worker can select any doctor for the initial treatment. The employer should have available a “Choice of Physician Form” and should have the injured worker sign the form and list the name of the doctor they are selecting as the authorized treating doctor.
