What is the Waiting Period for Lost Wages in Colorado?
The waiting period is 3 days. If the employee is off for over 2 weeks, the 1st 3 days is paid retroactively.

What is the Choice of Physician Rules in Colorado?
Rule 8, see below. Effective 4/1/15, the employer must provide the injured worker with a written list designating at least four medical providers within 7 business days following the date the employer receives notice of the injury. The injured worker must select a physician from the list. Failure to provide the list could result in the injured worker having the right to treat with any medical provider he or she chooses.

In addition to information regarding the designated providers, the designated provider list must also include identification of the insurer responsible for the claim and the name and contact information of a representative of both the employer and insurer.
