What is the Waiting Period for Lost Wages in Alabama?
The waiting period for lost wages in Alabama is 3 days. If the injured worker is off for more than 21 days, the first 3 days are paid retroactively.

What is the Choice of Physician Rules in Alabama?
The carrier has first right to select the physician. An exception is emergency care. If an employee is dissatisfied with the initial physician and further care is necessary, the employer must provide a panel of 4 physicians from which the employee may choose further care.
