C&F’s Accident & Health (A&H) team kicked off the summer with some goodwill and good fun by participating in the 46th annual Spring Lake Five Mile Run. Nearly 13,000 people including 85 A&H runners comprised of employees, family and friends participated to help local causes and charities.
Over the past several years, A&H has raised almost $230,000 for the The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Hazlet’s Hope Network, Colon Cancer Alliance for Research & Education for Lynch Syndrome, ALS, childhood cancer, mental health, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and various other causes through the generosity of our clients, colleagues and friends.
“We are proud to have raised $30k this year to support Breast Intentions, a crisis intervention charity providing financial and emotional help to breast cancer patients and their families,” said Lauren Woods, Chief Marketing Officer, A&H. “We recognize the struggles of treating breast cancer and the immense impact it has on individuals and their loved ones. By rallying together and contributing to organizations like Breast Intentions, we are not only offering financial assistance but also extending a hand of compassion and solidarity to those navigating this challenging journey.”
