Richard Yien has responsibility for enterprise information technology and infrastructure at Crum & Forster.
Richard has worked in the IT industry for more than 27 years serving as a development manager, entrepreneur, and technology executive. Prior to joining Crum & Forster in 2009, Richard was President of R2K, a technical services firm he founded in 1996 with offices in New York and Bangalore. His career also includes work at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Sigma Imaging Systems, and Wang Software. Richard is an inventor holding 4 US patents.
Richard is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned dual B.A. degrees in Economics and Computer Science. He obtained his M.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
