Mark Brown
Senior Vice President, Environmental Division
Mark Brown is responsible for establishing Crum & Forster’s Environmental Division.
Mark has enjoyed a 22-year career in the Environmental Insurance industry, as well as 10 years of experience working as an Environmental Contracting Consultant. Prior to joining Crum & Forster in October 2010, Mark held the role of Vice President and Environmental Division Manager at Argo Pro. Previously, Mark founded the Environmental Division at Markel and spent 10 years managing that division, which continually produced profitable results throughout his tenure. He has held a number of other roles since beginning his career in June 1981.
Mark earned a BS degree in marine biology from Stockton College and has been publicized several times throughout his career in the Marine Biology/Environmental Science and Environmental Insurance areas. He was recognized in 2008 as Risk Innovator of the Year by Risk & Insurance, in the area of Chemicals/Energy, for his contributions to the Environmental Insurance marketplace.
