Carl Berntsen is responsible for the underwriting of admitted primary casualty business produced by wholesalers. In addition, he oversees the underwriting of non admitted General Liability and Umbrella/Excess business written in Crum & Forster Specialty Insurance Company.
Carl joined C&F in 1979 and has held a variety of underwriting (Primary Casualty
and Umbrella) and management positions in field office locations and the home office.
Carl is a graduate of Bloomsburg University.
