Marc joined the Fairfax organization in 2000. Prior to his current role, he held leadership positions in three of C&F’s subsidiaries – as president and CEO of Fairmont Specialty, Seneca, and CoverXSpecialty.

Marc holds a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Nicole joined Fairfax Financial Holdings in 1992 and has held actuarial, IT and underwriting positions at both Fairfax and various subsidiaries – beginning at Crum & Forster in 2006 as the CIO and most recently running the manufacturing customer group.

Nicole is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. She majored in actuarial science and holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree.

Bob oversees all actuarial functions for the four operating units of Crum & Forster. He also is responsible for all reserving functions and ceded reinsurance purchasing.

He has held a variety of underwriting and actuarial functions at USF&G Insurance Company, and Odyssey’s predecessor company, TIG Re. He was chief actuary of OdysseyRe from 1999 to 2014, when he joined C&F.

Bob is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He graduated with a B.A. degree from Johns Hopkins University.

Al oversees risk management, and is also responsible for catastrophe management and formal audits. Prior to this, Al served as C&F’s Senior Vice President of Reinsurance.

Previously, he was with Seneca Insurance where he was V.P., Product Management overseeing a number of functions including actuarial analysis, catastrophe modeling, and management information. Al began his career at Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance.

Al earned a B.A. in Business/Economics from Rutgers University and an M.S.in Management Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology. He also holds a CPCU designation.

Steve Dresner

Steve is responsible for developing new business opportunities within all distribution channels at Crum & Forster. He will also evaluate insurance programs, M&A opportunities and assist with producer related strategic planning. In addition, Steve leads the reinsurance strategy and placement activities at Crum & Forster.

Prior to joining Crum & Forster, Steve held many roles at Endurance Specialty including executive vice president of global distribution, head of the wholesale brokerage operations and manager of its casualty treaty business. He was casualty practice leader at HartRe and held many management roles at GenRe. Steve began his insurance career at Home Insurance.

Steve earned his BA, Economics and MBA, Marketing and Finance from Clark University in Worcester, MA.

Jim is responsible for management of Crum & Forster’s legal department and corporate secretarial functions.

After law school, he was a litigator in private practice for seven years before joining Industrial Indemnity Company (San Francisco) in 1986. He has been with C&F since 1993.

Jim earned his B.A. at the University of Santa Clara, and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He is a member of the California State Bar Association and an in-house member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Stephen M. Mulready, or Steve, leads the Admitted P&C business segment of Crum & Forster, which includes Contractors, Health & Social Services, Manufacturing, Retail & Wholesale Goods, Transportation and Oil & Gas – collectively referred to as Industry Groups.  Steve also is responsible for Excess & Umbrella, Professional Liability, and Marine & Property, as well as C&F’s line of business products including Risk Management, Crisis Management, Hawaii, and AUIC.

In addition to his business role, he is responsible for Corporate Business Development, Product Management and Operations.

He started his career with Aetna, advancing to senior vice president and business leader of national commercial accounts. He then became president of Orion Specialty, followed by positions at Royal Sun Alliance, including president and CEO of U.S. operations.

Steve has a B.S. in insurance administration from the University of Connecticut and an M.B.A. from the University of Hartford. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at the University of Hartford.

Anthony leads the organization’s general counsel, human resources, claims, risk engineering, operations, real estate, facilities, information technology, and marketing and communication departments, as well as several profit centers operating nationally under the Crum umbrella of companies.

Previously, Anthony was with Zurich Financial Services, Switzerland, where he held a variety of leadership positions. Before joining Zurich, he was Department Director and Attorney with American International Group in New York. Earlier in his career, Anthony worked in public accounting with Ernst and Young, where he gained a solid financial and accounting foundation.

Anthony holds a graduate Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University, and is a licensed attorney in the State of New Jersey and the District of Columbia. He also is admitted to the United States Supreme Court. Anthony earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University.

Tom leads the E&S business for Crum & Forster. He also is responsible for their small business unit and their primary admitted construction book.

Tom joined First Mercury/CoverXSpecialty as chief underwriting officer from OdysseyRe, where he focused on U.S. casualty risks.  He began his underwriting career at Constitution Re and later joined TIG Insurance, which was acquired by Fairfax in 1999.

Tom holds CPCU and ARe designations. He is a graduate of Middlebury College and has completed additional programs at Wharton and St. John’s University’s School of Risk Management.

Mark leads the firm’s environmental business unit, which targets facilities (alternative fuels, treatment storage, recycling operations) and service providers (drilling, environmental contractors and consultants, engineers). His practice also offers general liability, contractors pollution liability, errors & omissions, and pollution legal liability.

Mark has a deep background in environmental insurance and consulting. He founded the environmental division at Markel, which he managed for 10 years, and was the vice president and environmental division manager at Argo Pro.

He earned a B.S. degree in marine biology from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. In 2008, he was honored as Risk Innovator of the Year by Risk & Insurance magazine, in the area of Chemicals/Energy, for his contributions to the environmental insurance marketplace.

Gary leads the Accident and Health division, which offers a wide variety of niche accident and health insurance and reinsurance products both domestic and international. Some of the many programs include overseas travel for students, employer stop loss programs for self-funded employee health plans, and pet insurance through Hartville Pet Insurance Group.

He started his career as an underwriter with AIG, before moving on to Reliance National as a senior underwriter. His career then took him to Swiss Re as an underwriting manager, and then to Legion Insurance as vice president. He joined Fairmont Specialty in 2000.

Gary graduated with a B.A. in finance from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, and an M.B.A. in business administration, management and operations from Monmouth University.

Marc Wolin has been with Seneca Insurance Company for 26 years, and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wolin joined Seneca in 1989 as Chief Financial Officer, and has also served as Chief Operating Officer prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wolin also serves on the Board of Directors of Seneca Insurance Company and Seneca Specialty Insurance Company.

Seneca is a commercial property and casualty insurer for small to medium commercial business with approximately $300 million of premium in all fifty states on an admitted and non admitted basis. The Company is noted for its underwriting expertise for non standard and standard risks that require individual risk underwriting with an average combined ratio of 87 over the past 15 years. Seneca is a wholly owned subsidiary of Crum & Forster, which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings, Ltd.

Prior to Seneca, Mr. Wolin had various financial and operational responsibilities in the insurance industry as Vice President of Finance for Primerica Corporation (part of Citigroup), Director of Financial Planning at AIG, and as a Certified Public Accountant and Audit Manager at Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers).

Mr. Wolin has a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Buffalo, and is a certified public accountant in the State of New York. Mr. Wolin and his wife Randi have four children and live in Long Island, New York. Mr. Wolin additionally is and has been a semi pro and NYC high school football referee for the past 34 years.
