CIA Simplifies Communications
At C&F we believe in clear and open communications with our policyholders about their claims. CIA allows you to monitor the progress of your claim files from your PC, 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any location. The secure Internet site is updated daily to provide you with the latest non privileged claims information.
Note: You will be asked to sign a Privacy Agreement Concerning Disclosure of individual protected consumer financial and health information before receiving access to Claims Information Access (CIA).
Knowledge — The Way You Want It
CIA provides you with complete financial information on all your claim files at C&F. Get a financial overview of each claim that includes reserve, payment, and recovery information. Need more details? You have it, including:
- All reserve changes by date and amount
- All payments made with payee, date issued, type of payment, and amount
Custom Loss Reports
CIA enables you to design your own loss reports. It has an advanced search facility that allows you to enter specific search/sort criteria in order to produce a custom report for your loss analysis. Need to know which open auto claims have an outstanding reserve over a certain amount for a particular loss year? You can have your results in seconds. What general liability claims have had reserve activity within the past 3 months? You
have it. What workers' compensation claims closed with total payments over a certain amount at a particular location? It's there.
Easy to Use
Once your CIA account is activated you simply enter the secured Internet claims site using your assigned ID and password. Our on-line Help facility will guide you through the process. If you're looking for a specific claim, you can search by claim number, insured name, or employee name. There's no software to load. There are no downloads to receive at a later date. All the information you require is on-line and only as far away as your PC and the Internet.
A Secure Site
Security is always a concern on the Internet and CIA provides you with several security features:
- Your own user specific ID and Password
- Data encryption that enables the private transfer of information
- Security warning window that notifies you documents are from a secure site
Systems Requirements
Access to CIA requires either a direct Internet connection or one provided by an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
